DE DOUĂ ORI

Mă uit la toate lucrurile
De două ori,
O dată ca să fiu vesel,
Şi o dată ca să fiu trist.

Copacii au un hohot de râs
În coroana de frunze
Şi o lacrimă mare
În rădăcina.
Soarele e tânăr
În vârful razelor,
Dar razele lui
sunt înfipte în noapte.

Lumea se închide perfect
Între aceste două coperţi
Unde am îngrămădit toate lucrurile
Pe care le-am iubit
De două ori.
