UMBRA LUI DUMNEZEU

Umbra lui Dumnezeu e tot ce vezi,
ce-n spaţiu se desparte şi s-adună,
pamînt e ea şi prund şi undă,
un drum cu călătorul dimpreună,
fîntînă-adapostind o lună.
Umbra lui Dumnezeu e mai vîrtoasă în lumină,
mai grea ca alte umbre. Şi nu-ţi scapă.
Şi poţi s-o strîngi sub chip de holdă şi grădină.
Şi poţi s-o bei în chip de apă.


GOD'S SHADOW

God's shadow is all you see,
that in the space is dividing and gathering,
it is earth, and gravel and wave,
an a way with its traveler together,
a fountain sheltering a moon.
The God's shadow is more powerful in the light,
heavier than other shadows. And you can't miss it.
And you can gather it as a cornfield or a garden.
And you can drink it as water.
