CONTEMPORAN

Nu mă-nspăimântă cerul, nici pământul,
Pe unul calc, pe cellalt îl străpung.
Sunt slab, sămânţă care-o suflă vântul
Pe stepele vieţii îndelung.
Dar el mă suflă unde vreau s-ajung !

Chiar dacă eşti la infinit de mine,
Dar ştiu că eşti şi-ţi cat Împărăţia,
Nu-mi mai trăiesc în van nimicnicia.
O, Doamne, sunt contemporan cu Tine,
Şi sunt contemporan cu Veşnicia.


CONTEMPORANEOUS

I'm not afraid of the sky, neither of the earth,
On one I walk, the other I strike through.
I'm weak, a seed which the wind is blowing,
On the plains of the life a long time.
But it blows me where I want to go !

Even if You are at the infinite from me,
I know You are and I look for Your Kingdom,
I don't live in vain my nothingness anymore.
Oh, God, I'm contemporaneous with You,
And I'm contemporaneous with the Eternity.
