TINERII

Se sarută, ah, se sarută, se sarută
tinerii pe străzi, în bistrouri, pe parapete,
se sarută întruna ca şi cum ei inşişi
n-ar fi decat nişte terminaţii
ale sărutului.
Se sarută, ah, se sarută printre maşinile-n goană,
în staţiile de metrou, în cinematografe,
în autobuze, se sarută cu disperare,
cu violentă, ca şi cum
la capătul sărutului, la sfîrşitul sărutului, după sărut
n-ar urma decît bătrîneţea proscrisă
şi moartea.
Se sarută, ah, se sarută tinerii subţiri
şi îndragostiţi. Atît de subţiri, ca şi cum
ar ignora existenta pîinii pe lume.
Atît de îndragostiţi, ca şi cum, ca şi cum
ar ignora existenta însăşi a lumii.
Se sarută, ah, se sarută ca şi cum ar fi
în întuneric, în întunericul cel mai sigur,
ca şi cum nu i-ar vedea nimeni, ca şi cum
soarele ar urma să răsară
luminos
abia
dupa ce gurile rupte de sărut şi-nsîngerate
n-ar mai fi în stare să se sărute
decît cu dinţii.


THE TEENAGERS

They are kissing,ah, they are kissing, they are kissing
the teenagers on the streets, in the pubs, on the parapets,
they are always kissing as they themselves
were but endings
of the kissing.
They are kissing, ah, they are kissing among the running cars,
in the subway stations, in the cinema,
in the buses, they are hopelessly kissing,
violently kissing, as
at the end of the kiss, after the kiss
wouldn't fallow but the proscribed old age
and the death.
They are kissing,ah, they are kissing the thin teenagers
in love. So thin , as
they would ignore the existence of the bread in the world.
So much in love, as, as
they would ignore the existence of the world too.
They are kissing, ah, they are kissing as they would be
in the dark, in the most safe dark,
as nobody would see them,as
the sun would rise up
only
then the mouths broken by the kiss and bleeding
would be able to kiss
only with the teeth.
