POEM CUTREMURAT, DINTR-UN OCHI ZBURAT

La picioarele tale - o umbră căzută din cuib.
Îţi spui că este în zadar, oricum moare,
n-o s-o ridici tu din gheaţă, nici din tăciuni,
nu este suficient loc pe placa asta tectonică
pentru gesturi inutile şi destabilizatoare,
numai copiii cred necondiţionat în minuni.

Şi este păcat să încerci, din mai multe motive,
ca pe propriul tău ochi drept s-o îngrijeşti,
cînd în ochiul celălalt pîndesc pisici viteze
torcînd din privirile lui pofte nefireşti.
La sînii lor te-ai rotunjit, răsfăţat cu antiteze
şi nu mai eşti copil, nici impresionabil, nici uşor.

Eşti un specimen puternic, perfect adaptat
la realitatea colectiv acceptată, un supravieţuitor,
nu-ţi îndrăzneşte dreptul cît păşeşte stîngul,
cu pisici mioape te-ai fi plictisit inadecvat zgîriat
şi speri ca peste milenii zdrenţuite de ghearele lor

să-ţi găsească mumia păsării în sarcofagul ochilor.


SHAKED POEM, FROM A FLIED EYE

At your feet - a shadow fallen from the nest.
You tell yourself that it is in vain, she will die anyway,
so you will not get her from the ice, from the firebrands,
it is not enough room on this tectonic plate
for unnecessary and destabilizing gestures,
only the children  unconditionally believe in miracles.

And it's a pity to try, for several reasons,
to care her as she would be your own right eye,
while in the other eye brave cats are watching
purring from it unnatural lust.
At their breasts you have rounded, spoiled with antitheses
and you are no longer a child, nor impressionable, nor easy.

You are a strong specimen, perfectly adapted
at the collectively accepted reality, a survivor,
your right foot do not dare as your left foot steps,
with myopic cats you would be bored inappropriately scratched,
and you hope after millennia frayed by their claws
someone to find the mummy of the bird in the sarcophagus of your eye.
