SCHIMBAREA ÎN ROUĂ

Ore cu suflet expus, rămăşag al
rigorii cu pura-ntîmplare : - aşa
vine amurgul, şi cei ce-au jurat
apun cu văpăile-n gură.

Iată : acum, în puţinul acesta,
sub genele grele-ale soarelui, cînd
toate-şi recapătă liniştea, ca
actorii măsura sub mască, -

nu revoltat, ci ştiind că lumina-i
totuşi datoare luminii, mi-agăţ
sîngele-n partea senină de cer,
şi-aştept să se schimbe în rouă...



CAMBIAMENTO IN RUGIADA

Ore con l'animo esposto, scommessa
del rigore con il puro evento : - cosi
arriva il creposcolo, e coloro che hanno giurato
tramontano con le fiamme in bocca.

Ecco : adesso, in questo poco rimasto
sotto le pesanti ciglia del sole, quando
tutte le cose recuperano la loro pace, come
gli attori la misura sotto la maschera -

non con sdegno, ma sappendo che la luce
e, pero, dovuta all'amore, appendo
il mio sangue nella parte serena del cielo
e aspetto di cambiarsi in rugiada...



CHANGE IN DEW

Hours with the soul exposed, bet
of the rigor with the pure event : - so
the twilight comes, and those who have sworn
go down with flames in their mouth.

Here : now, in this little remained,
under the heavy lashes of the sun, when
all the things regain their peace
like the actors their measure under the mask -

not with indignation, but knowing that light is

and I am waiting to change in dew...
