DINCOLO DE CUVINTE
Ne iubim ca plantele cînd se întîlnesc peste
trupul aceluiași rîu,
ca neștiutoarele păsări în cuibul lunecător al aceluiași
vînt;
ca nevăzutele astre în unghiul de fosfor al
aceleiași secunde,
mereu și pretutindeni, dincolo de cuvinte, fără
cuvînt!
OLTRE LE PAROLE
Ci amiamo come le piante quando s'incontrano sopra
il letto dello stesso fiume,
come le innocenti uccelli nel scivolante nido dello stesso
vento;
come le invisibili stelle nell'angolo di fosforo della
stessa seconda,
sempre ed ovunque, oltre le parole, senza
parola!
BEYOND WORDS
Our love is like couples of waterweeds interweaving over
the bed of one river,
pairs of untutored birds mating in their nest, fondled by
the same breath of air;
twin indiscernible orbs caught by the nick of time in the
phosphorous needle of one second,
forever, everywhere, beyond words, simply dispensing with words!
