AMANTA

Ameţitoare,albă stalactită
care susţine bolta unui gînd
cu trupul ei de raze,spumegînd,
cu gura tragică şi răzvrătită;

profil de-argint, ca marea-ntr-un intrînd,
de unde praguri tot mai sus invită
spre-o altă lume,furtunos ivită
din mîluri şi azururi,rînd pe rînd;

orgolioasă de singurătate,
tiranică,născută în delir,
rivală-n străluciri cu orhideea:

aşa mă bîntuie cu voluptate
punînd pe fruntea mea stigmat şi mir
amanta fără patimă,Ideea.



L'AMANTE

Inebriante, bianca stalattite
che regge la volta di un pensiero
col suo corpo di raggi,spumeggiando,
colla sua bocca tragica e ribelle;

profilo d'argento, come il mare nel fiordo,
da dove la soglia sempre alta invita
verso un altro mondo, tempestosamente nato
dai fanghi e azzurri, volta per volta;

orgogliosa nella  sua solitudine,
tirannica, nata in delirio,
rivale nello splendore alla orchidea:

cosi mi infierisce con volutta
mettendo sulla mia fronte stigmato ed olio santo,
l'amante senza passione, l'Idea.



THE MISTRESS

Astounding,white stalactite
supporting the vault of a thought
with its body of rays,foaming,
with its tragic and rebelled mouth;

silver profile, as the sea in a bay,
where the thresholds higher and higher are inviting
towards a world, stormily born
from muds and azures, turn by turn;

proud with its loneliness,
tyrannical, born in delirium,
rival in its splendour to the orchid:

so is voluptuously haunting me, 
putting on my forehead a stigma and a chrism,
the passionless mistress , the Idea.
